26th September – 29th September 2025 | The Heart of Cheshire
A long weekend of Contact Improvisation, eco-somatic movement, and collective exploration in a rewilding farmstead community of meadows and new forest.
A space for shared presence, moving together, and opening to what wants to emerge. 👉 Apply here
What is Togethering?
‘Togethering’ is for those drawn to movement, to presence, and to the ways we come into relation.
It welcomes improvisers curious about what becomes possible in the collective field of awareness.
Each day begins in motion. Contact Improvisation is our way in, exploring foundational principles of ground and space.
Our exploration will continue into the land. Listening through the body, to place and to what wants to emerge.
This is a space shaped in togetherness. It expands and contracts. It meets what’s there.
We follow what wants to grow. Not by planning, but by tending.
Not by doing, but by being with.
We find ourselves in nature.
Rooted in the body. Fed by firelight and forest.
Where We’ll Be
Beech Hill is a living, growing project rooted in the heart of Cheshire.
Twenty-seven acres of orchard, meadow, and woodland hold a community shaped by food-growing, rewilding, and shared practice.
We’ll sleep in tents or simple indoor spaces.
We’ll gather on the dance floor or beneath trees, share meals grown in the garden, and move through spaces shaped by earth, air, and sky.
There are paths through long grass and young woodland, a fire circle, kitchen gardens, and quiet places to be with the land.
This is not a finished place.
It is unfolding, hand-tended, and alive.
A setting that welcomes presence.
A land that invites us to listen.
Facilities:
We’ll move in a heated marquee with a soft floor beneath us.
There are showers, compost toilets, and space to land.
What Happens Each Day
Mornings begin with Contact Improvisation.
We share key principles and arrive in the body, in the group, in the place.
Afternoons are for eco-somatic practice and movement in nature.
We follow shared scores through forest paths, across soft ground, into the spaces between.
We listen to the land and to each other.
Evening Jam’s unfold together with fire and candlelight.
Improvised scores and space to integrate the days explorations.
We move together, not toward a clear outcome, but into a sense of deeper shared presence.
Participants are invited to bring questions, practices, and ways of being.
We welcome collaboration and exchange.
